WHO ARE WE?
NorthCountry Bowhunters Chapter of Safari Club is an international membership
organization dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and habitat, education of
youth and the public and the promotion of preservation of rights and interest of
sportsmen and sportswomen worldwide.
NorthCountry Bowhunters Chapter of conducts a convention and trade exposition in the Twin Cities each year and holds informative and entertaining membership meetings monthly. The Club publishes and distributes the NorthCountry magazine quarterly and the NorthCountry newsletter monthly. Since forming in 1972, the NorthCounty Bowhunters have contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to programs benefiting wildlife, habitat, and the sporting community. Join us!

Founded in 1970 by a small group of farsighted sportsmen, the club has enjoyed a steady growth in membership and now maintains an international reputation as one of the premier hunting organizations in the world.
The Purposes Of The Club
To promote good fellowship among those who love outdoors and the sport of hunting.
To encourage the preservation of endangered species of wildlife.
To educate young people in the safe and proper use of firearms and to interest them in conservation and preservation of the habitat and wildlife which are our natural heritage.
To share the latest hunting experiences and information among members.
To operate the association as a nonprofit organization for the enjoyment of its members and to help conserve the animals which they hunt today for the benefit of those who will enjoy them in the future.
To preserve the right of the hunter and fisherman to harvest the surplus wildlife under proper game laws and to conserve such wildlife for those who will hunt and fish in the future.
To educate the public as to the traditional and historic role in the successful conservation of our wildlife.

Where Does the Money Go?
The NorthCountry Bowhunters Chapter of Safari Club spends tremendous time and energy putting on one of the largest Hunting Conventions in the country. Why? Aside from the fun, fellowship, and activities, the convention is our major fund raising effort that allows us to make contributions back to wildlife conservation efforts and the protection of hunters' rights.
